Isabella LaFleur

I grew up in New York with a church going family, but I didn’t truly know who God was beyond the idea of Him being this big guy in control. Although I attended church, Sunday school, and youth group, I lacked a real relationship with Jesus. Early in life, I walked through deep pain and confusion that led me to search for love and fulfillment in all the wrong places. By the time I reached college, I was caught in a cycle of anxiety, alcohol, and broken relationships, trying to fill a void only God could satisfy.

Everything began to change when I transferred to the University of North Texas and got connected with Campus Outreach. For the first time, I clearly heard the gospel and began to understand that Jesus was inviting me into rest, healing, and new life in Him. At a college conference that winter, God opened my eyes to His grace and I surrendered my life to Christ.

Since then, I’ve been walking with the Lord in freedom and joy, growing in my faith through discipleship and community. Now, as an intern with Campus Outreach, my greatest desire is to see other college students experience that same transformation—to know the peace and purpose that comes only from a relationship with Jesus. I would love to meet with you and share how we can partner together in helping students come to know Christ and make Him known on the UNT campus!
